I visited Colonial Coffee on two occasions. If I'm gonna spend $26 dollars on burgers and fries I can find better food elsewhere. This is enough to make me never be a returning customer. The worst experience I've ever had with a chain franchise. I bravely tried to eat but the 1st bite had me gaging so I just pushed it aside.

She had the meal remade and by the time my food came back I was already feeling nausea. I politely called the waitress over to my table and she even had a look of discuss on her face. The crunch was because what I hoped was an actual burger patty look like a deep fried scrub pad you use for dishes. I opened up the buns and WOW.I couldn't believe they actually served me this. My second bite in I thought it tastes kinda funny and super crunchy bacon. Then my food finally comes and I start eating with my toddlers. It took almost 40 minutes to receive my food, that was the 1st thing that had me thinking this was a bad idea. 30 York, PA by The Lube Center, I ordered a bacon jalapeño cheese burger with onions and kids meal, dining in. All your customers should be treated the same specially when they spend 45$ on a cake that feeds 2 versus a customer spending 6$ on a danish! Next time be mindful of how you treat people. I give this girls customer service a 1star. I will never bring business to here again just because your customer service. Especially when she was being extra nice and sweet to other customers walking out but didn’t stay a work to me. Her customer service was offensive to myself. She did not thank me for my business or even say “ have a nice day” matter fact she didn’t say anything. I asked about a breakfast sandwich which apparently they stop serving at 12 even tho they close at 1…which again is fine if that’s your policy but the way she was talking to me was not like the other lady working there was addressing her customer not how this young lady addressed other customers walking out. Picked up my cake she didn’t say anything but “ I can’t close the box”. She did not greet me at all when I walked in, she just looked at me as if the eye contact meant to come over there. What drew me to write this review was the girl who was serving me. Just picked up my $45 tiny cake which was fine since that is what I ordered. Thanks to the owner, Karl for a great lunch experience at a very reasonable price considering the quantity and quality of the food! Accomplished by a huge order of crispy French fries, if made a delicious dinner! Pictured below! I had a medium rare cut of prime Rib with onion rings, mashed potatoes, broccoli salad & 3 fried jumbo shrimp for $23!īut the star was the locally raised Buffalo, served as a huge hamburger, medium cooked. Tons of sandwiches, soups, salads, seafood combos you would never think existed. So here's the problem! Yes, they serve breakfast until about 11am but lunch & dinner(with 3 pages of specials) is the killer, served until closing time. Stopped for lunch with a friend about 1pm on a sunny Monday! If you are anywhere close to York,PA travelling on I83 or US30 and looking for a meal, this neighborhood, no-frills, long-established, American-style, old-school diner /restaurant is the place to eat! Big parking lot, tables, booths & counter-service, clean bathrooms & very friendly, attentive service.
